How a Herbette day runs

You arrive to a picnic that is already there.

Our two vans leave rue Berbisey at 11:00. Each blanket is laid flat, weighted at the corners and watched by one of us until you sit down.

  1. 10:00Last orders for a same-day lunch. Weekends open fourteen days ahead.
  2. 12:30Your blanket is laid and someone waits with it. We send a photo and a pin.
  3. 17:00We come back for the linen, the basket and the plates. Leftovers go home in paper boxes.

Before you book

What happens if it rains?

We read the forecast at 8:00. If rain above 60% is due in your slot, we call and you move the date for free or take a full refund.

Do we give the basket back?

Leave everything on the blanket. We collect the linen, basket, plates and glasses at 17:00, or at the time you chose. You only pay for breakages above €10.

Can you cook around allergies?

Every dish carries a card with the fourteen listed allergens. The builder has vegetarian and gluten-free swaps; for anything stricter, write to us before 18:00 the day before.

Can you lay it in a private garden?

Yes, anywhere inside the Dijon ring road for a flat €12, and in Talant, Fontaine-lès-Dijon and Chenôve for €15.
